We invite you to participate in the Great American Tobacco Duck Race on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 1-5pm on the banks of the Ol' Bull River at American Tobacco in Downtown Durham. All proceeds from this purchase benefit the Explorer Post 50 Scholarship Fund.
Individuals and companies purchase ducks in any increment. On the day of the event the ducks will be simultaneously released to race swiftly down the Ol' Bull River.
There will be prizes at both the individual and corporate level. You don't have to be present to win. Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place. There's also a prize for the "Best Decorated Duck". The biggest winners are the people and communities these charities support.
How to Claim Your Duck(s) after purchased *Includes one Race Bib per each duck purchased
Option 1 - Bring your receipt to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park Main Office, Sept 24-28, 2012 M-F 9:00am - 5:00pm to claim your Duck.
Option 2 - Bring your receipt on the day of the event October 7, 2012 between 1:00 - 3:30pm and come to the Explorer Post 50 Tent to claim your Duck.
Option 3 - If you are unable to attend the race, we would be more than happy to race your Duck for you and contact you should your Duck win. Details provided in your confirmation email.
